Questions

Glow Common Questions

What’s pIC50?

pIC50 is the negative log of the IC50 value when converted to molar. That is, pIC50=-log(IC50).

What’s Kd?

Dissociation consent (Kd) reflects the affinity of a compound for its target. In some cases, it can be equivalent to Ki.

Targets & IC50

Targets:

  • Actin

  • Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor (VEGFR)

  • Extracellular Matrix Remodeling

  • Cell Migration Pathway

IC50:

  • Not applicable (multi-peptide formulation; not characterized by inhibitory IC50 values)

In vitro

METHODS: Human dermal fibroblasts, endothelial cells, and keratinocytes were treated with BPC-157 (0–10 μM), TB10 (0–1 μM), and GHK (0–50 μM), individually and in combination, for 24–96 hours. Cell proliferation, migration, and collagen synthesis were evaluated using wound healing assays, collagen quantification assays, and Western blot analysis.

RESULTS: The combination of TB10, BPC-157, and GHK enhances cell migration, promotes cytoskeletal remodeling, and significantly increases collagen production. BPC-157 supports vascular repair, TB10 regulates actin dynamics and structural organization, while GHK stimulates extracellular matrix regeneration and skin-related repair pathways. Together, they exhibit synergistic effects in tissue regeneration and skin repair without significant cytotoxicity at commonly used experimental concentrations. [1]
