⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

CJC-1295 Without DAC, also known as Modified Growth Hormone Releasing Factor 1-29 (Mod GRF 1-29), is a synthetic peptide analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It is engineered with amino acid substitutions to enhance stability and resistance to enzymatic degradation while maintaining a short plasma half-life compared to DAC-conjugated forms. This peptide stimulates pulsatile secretion of growth hormone (GH) by activating the growth hormone-releasing hormone receptor.

Questions

CJC-1295 Without DAC Common Questions

What’s pIC50?

pIC50 is the negative log of the IC50 value when converted to molar. That is, pIC50=-log(IC50).

What’s Kd?

Dissociation consent (Kd) reflects the affinity of a compound for its target. In some cases, it can be equivalent to Ki.

Targets & IC50

Targets:

  • Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone Receptor (GHRHR)

  • cAMP Signaling Pathway

  • GH/IGF-1 Axis

IC50:

  • Not applicable

(CJC-1295 Without DAC is a receptor agonist peptide, not an inhibitor)

In vitro

METHODS: Rat pituitary cell lines and primary anterior pituitary cells were treated with CJC-1295 Without DAC (0–100 nM) for 1–24 hours. Growth hormone secretion and downstream signaling were evaluated using ELISA assays and cAMP response measurements.

RESULTS: CJC-1295 Without DAC stimulates growth hormone secretion in a dose-dependent manner via activation of the GHRH receptor. It enhances intracellular cAMP levels and promotes pulsatile GH release. Compared to native GHRH, the modified peptide demonstrates improved stability while maintaining receptor specificity. No significant cytotoxicity is observed at commonly used experimental concentrations. [1]
